Our Journey
Our journey began with a memory—a memory of my grandmother, a woman whose life was filled with resilience, dedication, and love. She saw coffee as more than a drink; to her, it was a way to gather, to pause, and to connect. Her belief in small, meaningful rituals became the inspiration behind Ahwecito, shaping our vision of coffee as a way to bridge people and cultures. The name "Ahwecito" is a blend of two words: ‘Qahwah,’ the Arabic word for coffee, and ‘Cafecito,’ Spanish for ‘little coffee.’ Together, they capture the meeting of traditions and worlds, bringing a bit of Colombia’s warmth and Arabic heritage to each cup. Ahwecito is a tribute to my grandmother’s legacy and to the rich heritage she passed on. Every step of the Ahwecito journey is crafted to honor that vision. We’ve carefully selected our beans, perfected our roasts, and committed to roasting each batch fresh, so every cup is brimming with authenticity and care. Whether you’re enjoying Ahwecito alone in a quiet moment, or sharing it with friends and loved ones, we’re here to help make every sip count. We’re here to build a community that values connection, tradition, and the simple pleasure of a well-brewed coffee. Thank you for joining us on this journey, for sharing in our story, and for helping us create moments of warmth, connection, and memory, one cup at a time
